SCANIA SUSTAINABILTY FORUM 2024

THE BRIEF:
Create a video for the 2024 sustainability forum representing the history of planet Earth, and the urgent need for environmental reform.

THE SOLUTION:
For this video my roll was creating a circular graphic to be translated into a piece of unique sand art on the beaches of Cornwall. The graphic was based on a piece of spoken word poetry which tells the story of our planet; ranging from the early moments of cell division and deep sea life, to the birth of humanity and our detrimental effect on the planet.

Edited into a short introductory video for the Scania Sustainability Forum, this work was designed with the hopes of inspiring industry leaders to invest in green energy and make change before it’s too late.

Designing an abstract clock that fit the narrative of the poem, and was feasible for the sand artist in the time given.
